When TimeTiker reaches Beta, premium features like reports, Kanban, and team collaboration will require a paid plan (starting at 6 CHF/month). However, core features like the dashboard, focus timer, categories, and journal will remain free forever. If you join during Alpha, you will receive a lifetime 50% discount on all premium plans.

Everything is stored locally on your device by default. If you enable cloud sync, your data is end-to-end encrypted before it leaves your machine — no one, not even us, can read it.

Absolutely. TimeTiker is designed local-first: it tracks your activity, saves your data, and gives you full access to all features without any internet connection.

TimeTiker records the active application window and its title in the background. It detects which apps, websites, and documents you work on — automatically, with no manual input required.

Not yet. TimeTiker is currently available on Windows only. macOS and Linux versions are actively being developed and will be released in the near future.
